Members of the Northwest Railway Museum receive a 10% discount on purchases. The Depot Bookstore is open Thursday - Monday from 10:15 AM - 5 PM all year and seven days per week from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Depot Bookstore is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. is a series collected and edited by Ruth Eckes. Ruth was an operator for the
Northern Pacific Railway beginning in 1944. She worked many locations
including Kanaskat and Snoqualmie. Her books are an anthology of real railway
stories - an oral history - about what it was like to work for the railway.
